Four - NOT Seven - the Most the Mind can Grasp at a Time

This re-analysis of the original research concludes that the most items that the mind can handle at one time is FOUR and NOT SEVEN as previously reported. Read the article here: Four is the 'magic' number

COMMENT: this is an interesting idea, and embracing the conclusion may help with memory. Instead of chunking together 7 items at a time, our memory may work better by when we think of data in groups of 4 instead of groups of 7.
