Chest Pain?

Heart disease doesn’t have to kill prematurely.

In most cases, the disease is not genetic, but rather due to your behaviors.

After practicing nuclear cardiology for over a decade now, here’s some lessons learned from my sickest patients and my healthiest patients.

  1. Common sense makes good sense. We all know what we need to do to get into better shape and better health. You don’t need a doctor to tell you the basics of staying in good shape.
  2. Timeless wisdom really is timeless. One of the first lessons I learned was that moderation really works. My patients that has some really bad habits sometimes are in great shape. The reason? Most of their habits are good, and their bad habits are practiced infrequently.
  3. Keep it simple. Exercise regularly and eat your vegetables.
  4. See your general practitioner regularly. You can’t feel if your blood pressure is going up. You can’t feel your cholesterol levels going up. You can’t feel early colon cancer. Regular checkups for your body are really helpful.
  5. Laugh. Often.
