Ask your spouse to tell you three things you do that irritate him or her. Try to understand things from their perspective.

Proverbs 27:14 – If you wake your friend in the early morning by shouting “Rise and shine!” It will sound to him more like a curse than a blessing.

During the day, ask how he or she is doing. Ask them if there is anything you could do for them.

Give your spouse something special that says you were thinking about them today.

Ephesians 4:32 – Be kind and tender to one another. Forgive each other, just as God forgave you because of what Christ has done.
